Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Summit Court Academy. By registering for a program, attending a class, participating in an event, purchasing merchandise, or using any Summit Court Academy service, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Program Registration and Payment

All registrations, program fees, clinic fees, private lesson packages, event fees, merchandise purchases, and other academy-related payments must be paid in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise approved in writing by Summit Court Academy.

Registration is not guaranteed until payment has been received and confirmed.

All sales are final. Please refer to our Refund and Return Policy for additional details.

2. Participant Eligibility

Participants must meet any age, skill level, or program requirements listed for the specific class, clinic, camp, or event. Summit Court Academy reserves the right to place participants in the appropriate program level based on age, ability, safety, and overall group fit.

Summit Court Academy also reserves the right to deny or remove participation if a participant’s conduct, skill level, safety risk, or behavior is not appropriate for the selected program.

3. Attendance and Scheduling

Participants are expected to attend scheduled classes, clinics, lessons, and events on time and prepared to participate.

Missed sessions, late arrivals, voluntary withdrawals, scheduling conflicts, or changes in personal availability do not qualify for refunds, credits, or make-up sessions.

Summit Court Academy may modify schedules, instructors, locations, or program formats when necessary.

4. Weather, Court Conditions, and Cancellations

Tennis is an outdoor activity and may be affected by weather, court conditions, facility availability, or other circumstances outside the academy’s control.

Summit Court Academy may cancel, postpone, reschedule, or adjust programming due to weather, unsafe playing conditions, facility conflicts, or other operational needs.

When possible, Summit Court Academy may attempt to reschedule affected sessions, but make-up sessions are not guaranteed.

5. Code of Conduct

All participants, parents, guardians, spectators, and guests are expected to conduct themselves respectfully toward coaches, players, staff, facility representatives, and other families.

The following behavior is not permitted:

  • Unsafe or aggressive behavior

  • Disrespectful language or conduct

  • Bullying, harassment, or intimidation

  • Damage to property or equipment

  • Disruption of instruction, events, or academy activities

  • Failure to follow coach or staff instructions

Summit Court Academy reserves the right to remove any participant, parent, guardian, or spectator from programming without refund if their behavior is deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive.

6. Assumption of Risk

Participation in tennis, athletic training, fitness activities, camps, clinics, and related events involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, muscle strains, sprains, heat-related illness, equipment-related injuries, and other physical injuries.

By participating, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept these risks.

Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically able to participate in academy activities. Parents or guardians are responsible for determining whether a minor participant is physically able to participate.

7. Medical Care and Emergency Authorization

In the event of an injury, illness, or emergency, Summit Court Academy staff may attempt to contact the participant’s parent, guardian, or emergency contact.

If immediate medical attention is needed and a parent or guardian cannot be reached, you authorize Summit Court Academy staff, coaches, or representatives to seek appropriate emergency medical care.

Any medical expenses are the responsibility of the participant, parent, or guardian.

8. Equipment and Personal Property

Participants are responsible for bringing appropriate tennis attire, shoes, water, and any required equipment.

Summit Court Academy may provide rackets or equipment when available, but availability is not guaranteed.

Summit Court Academy is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

9. Facility Rules

Participants and guests must follow all rules, policies, and procedures of any facility used by Summit Court Academy, including tennis courts, country clubs, schools, public parks, or partner locations.

Violation of facility rules may result in removal from academy programming without refund.

10. Photography, Video, and Media Release

By participating in Summit Court Academy programs or events, you grant Summit Court Academy permission to photograph, record, or otherwise capture images, video, or audio of participants during academy activities.

These materials may be used for promotional, educational, social media, website, advertising, or informational purposes without compensation.

Parents or guardians who do not want their child photographed or recorded must notify Summit Court Academy in writing before participation.

11. Communication

Summit Court Academy may communicate important updates through email, text message, phone, social media, website updates, or other communication channels.

Participants, parents, and guardians are responsible for reviewing academy communications regarding schedules, cancellations, program updates, and policy changes.

12. Merchandise and Academy Materials

All merchandise, apparel, printed materials, digital materials, and other academy-related products are sold as-is. All sales are final.

Summit Court Academy logos, names, images, written materials, training materials, and branded content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.

13. Right to Modify Programs

Summit Court Academy reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel, or discontinue any program, event, schedule, location, instructor assignment, pricing, or offering at any time.

Any changes will be communicated when reasonably possible.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Summit Court Academy, its owners, directors, coaches, volunteers, representatives, partners, sponsors, and affiliated facilities shall not be liable for injuries, losses, damages, expenses, or claims arising from participation in academy activities, use of facilities, use of equipment, or attendance at academy events.

15. Parent and Guardian Responsibility

For minor participants, a parent or legal guardian must complete registration and agree to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of the participant.

Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring their child follows academy rules, facility rules, and coach instructions.

16. Policy Updates

Summit Court Academy may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will become effective once posted, distributed, or otherwise made available.

Continued participation in Summit Court Academy programs after updates are made constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
